I-10 is to be avoided, if possible! The road is a serious issue – probably ½ of the distance between L.A., CA, and Phoenix, AZ, is in terrible condition; the fierce wind didn’t help!
The rock structures are unique. Lots of rocks and barren land. A road runner crossed in front of us.
But the road made it a less than enjoyable trip. However, we made it here to Sun City, visiting with Darrell Rodin. The weather is great – minus the wild wind! I fixed supper for the 3 of us.
We’ll be leaving early, heading toward Abilene, TX, next.
