The dinner at church
was all we expected and more. Besides wonderful food and fellowship, we heard
an inspiring testimony of a redeemed alcoholic and drug user. After a strong
challenge from the Word, several folks made a public profession of salvation.
We’re very grateful that Vicki takes Scarlett to a good church.
We’ve been playing
games with Scarlett - she makes them up as we go along! She’s very active, and
will probably struggle to settle into a full-time Kindergarten this fall.
The weather has been
pleasant, except for the “sticky” humidity. Roger and Josh “built” a cover for
the back porch (new “legs”), so it will be nice when the breeze blows.
