Indiana

Our first stop in IN was in Fort Wayne, where we have 2 good friends, retired missionaries from Japan. We've known them since before they were married ~40 years ago. Every year Flossie & Russ prepare a list of minor "fixes" around their house that they'd like Roger to tackle. He likes "fixing" and installing and usually gets most of the items done. This year was no exception.

Flossie treated us to some special valentine cone she had saved for us.

Our next stop was Plymouth, IN. A college friend of Heather’s is in rehab there. The original plan was to spend a day at their beautiful place by the Tippecanoe River. However, once again changes have redirected us. Sometimes we wonder how long we should – and will be able to – keep up these treks. It is the only time we see our kids and grandkids, but certainly another plan could be worked out even if less desirable.

We spent the night at “Last Chance” R.V. park in IN. A beautiful, quiet, shaded place with a lake. The weather could not be more perfect. It’s so restful and time to refresh and re-group plans, since several have changed. Laundry done; fixes made in the R.V.; hot lunch (the generator has pretty much quit, which means no microwave; good thing I lived before microwaves and know how to deal with that issue!). If you look carefully you can spot the rear of our RV through the pool fence.
