3rd day drove from Stockton to Gorman, CA.
Tonight (Friday)
we are in a real RV park with hookups. Last night we parked in a
Wal-Mart lot. No hookups!
Beautiful
hills and California farmland today. The wind wasn't too bad for
driving. The breeze was cool even though the sun was intense. We again
enjoyed home cooked meals in the motor home. Being self-contained offers
a different lifestyle. You depend mainly on gas stations but most
everything else is on board. Speaking of gas stations, I'll just add
that Miss Winnie really loves them. On level road we barely get 10mpg.
We might do better if we slowed down a bit (hint, hint, Heather!).
