Easter Monday meant that OM (Operation Mobilization) was closed, so we took out time leaving cousins Jim & Nancy. The day was beautiful – sunny and warm – and we were not in a hurry. The roads have been very good; the wind has died down; life is good!!
We were glad traffic was light, as we have been driving through a lot of mountains – the Ozarks, the Appalachians, and the (Smoky) Blue Ridge Mountains. The roads are lined with trees – deciduous, evergreens and flowering ones of various colors – pink, yellow and white, changing, it seems, with the State!
One project was shopping enough for the week we plan to park at OM.
Tuesday we pulled into OM and parked at the R.V. spot that we know so well. We enjoy volunteering here and it’s good to be back. Friends welcomed us.
